There are two regional airports that are convenient for traveling to Puerto Escondido. 

Puerto Escondido (airport code PXM)

15 minutes by car from Puerto Escondido's airport

Please contact us before arrival in order to arrange airport pick up if needed.  Alternatively, an airport taxi can be hired outside the terminal. 

Unfortunately, at this time there are no direct international flights into Puerto Escondido.  Most flights originate in either Mexico City or Oaxaca City.

If you are driving,  there are two principal routes from Mexico City:  through Acapulco (10 hours) and through Oaxaca City (11 hours).

Huatulco (airport code HUX)

1.5 hours by car

2 hours by bus

The regional bus service stops just outside the airport on the coastal highway (this option is better suited to those traveling light with a good command of Spanish and some time flexibility). From the bus station in Puerto Escondido, a taxi can be hired to take you to the house. We will provide you with directions in the reservation details.
